Meet DR. Stephen Kwon

Dr. Stephen Kwon is a board-certified endodontist (Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics) dedicated to preserving natural teeth and relieving pain. Utilizing advanced technologies, including dental microscopy and 3D CBCT imaging, he combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to deliver the highest standard of endodontic care. Beyond technical precision, Dr. Kwon is committed to creating a calm, supportive environment where every patient feels comfortable, informed, and truly cared for.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised on Long Island, New York, Dr. Kwon attended University at Buffalo and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. Then, he moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the VA Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island where he received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Kwon practiced as a general dentist in Massachusetts before returning to Tufts to obtain his post-doctoral Certificate in Endodontics.

Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Kwon enjoys running, playing golf, and cooking.
